Weaver of plant fibers, sculptor of ancient objects using medicinal wood, self-taught herbalist, protector of biodiversity, and caretaker of water. Luís Simões is a visual artist who for the last 15 years has worked weaving with natural fibers. His weaving workshops are opportunities for open conversations about the ancestry of the practice and the female consciousness within the creation and dissemination of the art. This country walk is for all ages, as we harvest raw materials with the artist, which becomes our common work and our common craft.
