Location:

ACOLÁ — Rua do Relógio | Rua João Falcão

In an unprecedented intervention, Xana explores the notion of extramural public spaces in Torrão. The unusual collection of colorful doors works throughout the streets like a signal system. This circuit along this urban axis is strewn with sonorous words-names, recognizable from our everyday lives. The echoes from Alentejo’s essence, inviting us to imagine and experience the challenges of FREEDOM.

The project is a result from an artistic residency that integrated geographic, sociological, and literary research. The work is sponsored by Formula P, a well-respected company in the printing field.
